Just a friendly note to everybody, this site has not launched yet so do not distress about the lack of content.

UniJunction has just started with the next development phase.

We are busy creating some new concepts and they will be going into development soon.

Once we have completed this initiative, UniJunction will be fully up and running, revolutionizing the Southern African online environment.

We appreciate  your patience with regard to this matter.

Don't take the lack of activity as a bad sign. UniJunction is not vapourware. ;)

If nothing's happening on here, what exactly are we so busy with? Well, we've put together an extremely complicated system to ensure that you'll have a painless ordering experience. Once everything is coded up, tested, and finally launched (late June/early July) ordering food should take you less than 5 minutes. As soon as you click your order button, whoever you ordered from (as well as our delivery service) will immediately be notified of your order. All you have to do is sit back and wait for your food. The other sections will be launched along with the food section.

If you'd like to know more about advertising opportunities, or if you're a food outlet and would like to appear on the site, feel free to contact us!

As previously mentioned, we're starting off locally here in Stellenbosch, but there are future plans to expand the website to include other towns. If you're interested in providing the services that UniJunction will offer in your town, get in touch.

We hope you're as excited about all this as we are!

We're on track for launch somewhere in June. At the moment the site isn't fully functional and sign-ups are disabled, we are testing every thing with a few Students. We'd just like to add that this website will primarily focus on Students at first, but later on we'll be broadening our scope.

Also, after launch, the services will only be available to Stellenbosch residents, but once everything's running smooth, we'll expand to include other towns as well. If you're situated in another town and like where things are going, and you're interested in helping out, drop us a line (erni at unijunction dot com).

So, be patient! In a few months we'll be offering a very unique service. We're just as excited as you (hopefully) are! Feel free to browse around and see what's being planned, and be sure to check back often to see if signups have been enabled.

As a side note, we recommend that you use Firefox to browse the site. IE has been giving us a few headaches (style wise), but they should all be sorted out by launch.

What is the goal of this website? Simple. To be a single source of information for Students, and to make the Student Life a little easier.

Right now the site is a little light on content, but in the next few weeks you can expect more and more functionality. At the moment Only the events section is live (although still empty at the time of writing), but here's what we have planned...

  • Property Listings
    • Looking for a place to stay? The Get Accommodation section will have listings directly from the real estate agents. Looking for a flat mate? You'll be able to advertise here. This section will make use of Google Maps, so you'll know exactly where the listed property is situated.
  • Classifieds
    • Looking for something specific? Want to sell something? The Classifieds section will enable you to do both with relative ease!
  • Lift Clubs
    • Want to go home for the holidays, but can't find someone to drive with? The Find a Lift section will make it easy to organize a car full of people to help pay for that trip home.
  • Job Listings
    • Almost done studying and looking for a job? Need a part-time job to earn some extra cash? The Get a Job section will be your answer!
  • Order Food...online!
    • We're busy organizing things with a lot of your favourite fast-food outlets and restaurants so that you'll be able to browse through their menus and order food directly from your browser to your door, using the Get Food section.

We're also planning a few other revolutionary things that'll make life a lot easier.

We'll be updating the site all the time, so check back for new developments. As soon as the site is ready, you'll be able to sign up!
